Delta LG Polls: Ukodhiko predicts Massive Victory For PDP
Member representing Isoko Federal Constituency at the National Assembly, Hon. Jonathan Ukodhiko, has said, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) would win the 25 Council Areas in the July 13 Delta State Local Government Council election.
The House of Representatives member made the statement on Wednesday at the Delta PDP Mega Rally for the 25 Council Chairmanship candidates and 500 Councilorship candidates, held at The Cenotaph, Asaba led by the State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori.
According to him, “the leaders, stakeholders, and members of the Peoples Democratic Party in the State are fully ready to ensure that our party comes out victorious in the local government polls this Saturday.
“As you can see and hear, daily, a lot of people of the opposition parties are regretting not voting the PDP in last year’s general election seeing the kind of good governance delivered by the Governor Oborevwori’s administration of the PDP.
“Yes, they are now joining the only leading party in the State, the Peoples Democratic Party everyday. It has been a bounteous harvest by us the PDP of the APC, LP, SDP leaders and members in all the LGAs in Delta State. The State is truly Sheriffied with symbolic yellow, and we in Isoko are united in support of the PDP and Governor Oborevwori.
“The massive turnout here at Asaba for the PDP Mega Rally, the climax of our campaign for the State LGA election, the enthusiasm, the passion, the elatedness seen here, meant that come July 13, all our 25 Chairmanship and 500 councilorship candidates of the PDP will be elected, across the 25 Local Government Council Areas.
“We are not relenting as we are focused, putting the hardwork, vigorously campaigning and mobilizing for overall convincing victories in all the LGAs, Wards and Units in the State. So it’s going to be another triumph and loud statement that Delta is a PDP State.” Hon. Ukodhiko added.
